The Trout series there are original illustrations by Grant O. Hagen (1921-1977). Grant Hagen was the brother of Dr. Harold Hagen's (Jamie's father-in-law), who created these illustrations for Harold to be included in a book he wrote entitled, "The Fishing Guide to Jackson Hole." Grant was originally a biologist turned famous nature artist in Jackson Hole, Wyoming the original hometown of the Hagen family. In essence this Trout series of mugs are inspired by two generations of nature lovers. They were designed to remind each of us of the beauty and spirit that surrounds us in the mountains of the west.
