My Buena Vista of the West
The Mountain Spirit Awakens Me
Where I Can Simply Be
The Valleys, The Peaks
Hint Of Life's Ebbs And Flows
Majestic, Pure And Heavenly
My Reason Longs To Capture
Each Detail
The Grandeur Goes Beyond Belief
And Transcends Me To Where I Seek
Now I Am Gone From Where I Belong
The Mind Goes Weak
Oh How I Long For You
To Gaze, To Seek
Awaken Once More
Those Grand Open Spaces
God's Holy Light
Please Take Me There Tonight
To Rekindle My Spirit
Recharge My Soul
Come Take Me There
And Take Control
Of This Forlorn Girl
Who Seeks To Find?
The Inclination In The Great Divine
Yet, I Envision Once More
Your Mountain Peaks
Veiled In White,
With Gentle Breezes
Stirring In Me, All Of You
Your Resonance Sung True
Gently Flowing Of Natures Tones
You Transform Me Once More
And I Recall, Finding,
Here In My Mind
My Buena Vista Of The West
My Heavenly Quest

Creative Concepts Inspired By Nature Mug Series are truly inspired by the
Spirit of the West. Jamie Utendorf-Hagen worked and lived on the east coast
as vice president of several corporations. Yet, for over fifteen years, she
vacationed in Colorado every chance that she had. She knew that the Colorado
territory was where she belonged and wrote the poem My Buena Vista of the West
(below) in Florida after returning from a trip. In 2001, while consulting, she
met her now husband Hal Hagen and moved to the Buena Vista, Colorado area soon
after. Hal's business, Aquatic Alternatives, took them to many remote areas
throughout Colorado where Jamie had the opportunity to hike the high mountains
with her mother-in-law Mary Hagen (author of "Hiking Trails of Northern Colorado").
The beauty of the majestic mountains, bountiful wildflowers and flowing rivers &
streams inspired Jamie to create the Wildflower and Trout Series of mugs.
The Wildflower Series includes photographs from Mary & Jamie's many hiking trips.
Our most popular collection an assorted case one of each
- Colorado Columbine, Scarlet Paintbrush, White Globeflower, Purple Fringe.
